Our Ministries

Sunday School (all ages)

North Scott offers Sunday School classes for every age from nursery through adult every Sunday of the year. Classes meet from 9:15 to 10:10 am. The nursery/preschool and elementary classes are all taught by individuals who have completed the CEF "Teaching Children Effectively" program. The youth and adult classes have the freedom to choose a course of study that falls within the scope of our statement of faith. We are intentional about memorizing God's Word, learning to study it and apply it.

Children and Youth

Kids' Club (Grades K-6)

Designed for students in grades 1-6, Kids' Club meets on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m., from September through May. Club opening consists of pledges to the Bible, Christian Flag and American Flag, singing and Bible teaching (2021-2022 curriculum is The Way of the Wise). Students then break into study groups to memorize Bible verses to earn awards. The final half hour includes games, award presentations and a short closing.

T.S.T. Youth Group

TST stands for Teens Seeking Truth. Young people in junior and senior high school meet together weekly September through April from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The study of God's Word and application to life is the primary focus. Teen-led group activities, student-led worship, small group prayer time, Bible study, Bible memorization, and refreshment/fellowship comprise the time together. Monthly activities include bonfires, hayrides, Christmas caroling, Valentine visits to seniors, bowling, and get-togethers at teen homes.

Fellowship/Bible Study

Daytime Fellowship Group

Meets at the church on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for mutual encouragement through study of the Word, prayer and Christian service. See the "Calendar" page for current information or contact us for more details.

Choir Program

The adult choir (grade 8 and up) ministers in service from October through April, rehearsing weekly from 7:00-8:15 p.m. on Thursday evenings. Repertoire ranges from timeless anthems to arrangements of new hymns, from Celtic spirit to traditional American melodies, from sacred classics to gospel cheer.

Missions support has been an integral part of the church's focus since 1909 with regular monetary and prayer support supplemented by personal correspondence for missionaries serving in foreign countries and in the U.S. Additionally, the annual Pardeeville Community Car and Truck Show, a unique local project whose purpose is to be a witness for Christ and raise funds for various missions and charities, is actively supported by the congregation.
